A/Prof. Margaret Broom

Adjunct Associate Professor Margaret Broom was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy undertaken at Australian Catholic University. She is the Neonatal Research Nurse at the Canberra Neonatal Unit. Margaret has led many research and quality improvements to reduce skin injuries in Neonates. These have included the development and validation of the Skin Risk Assessment and Management Tool and a Neonatal Nasal Injury Care Plan which have significantly reduced the incidence and severity of injuries.
