Glenda Dagger

District Nurse Educator, Te Whatu Ora Waitemata

Glenda Dagger is an experienced Nurse Educator and workshop facilitator with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care sector in both New Zealand and Australia. Her skills include healthcare information technology (HIT), management, teaching, professional supervision and wound care management. Having completed her Masters in Health Practice in 2017 she moved from a clinical district nursing role to an educator role, where she supports over 84 district nurses clinically and advancing their practice in the Waitemata Region of Auckland. Glenda also researches, writes and updates policies and practices within the community and hospital setting, sitting on regulating groups under the direction of the DON. She has a passion for wound care, acting as Area Coordinator for the NZWCS and a Post-graduate Lecturer in Wound Management for Massey University. Glenda lives just outside Auckland on a small lifestyle farm with her husband, adult children and many animals.
