Tabatha Rando

Nurse Practitioner - Wound Management, Royal Adelaide Hospital

For 30 years Tabatha has worked as an innovative wound clinician, improving and inspiring wound prevention and management through education, research, and expert consultations. She has a special interest in empowering the wounded and those who care for them to achieve person-centred outcomes.

She has worked across acute, subacute, aged care and community sectors including as a NP at Wound Innovations, as a Wound Management NC with the Royal Melbourne Hospital, RDNS in both Victoria and South Australia, and currently as the Advanced NC for Plastics/Wound Management in the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

A published author and invited speaker, she translates evidence-based wound prevention and management into practice and participates in national and international peak bodies to review and establish guidelines.

Research presentation awards include the 2023 LINK Congress, the 2022 & 2018 Wounds Australia Conferences, the 2019 EWMA Conference and most recently at the 2024 Journal of Wound Care awards.
