Tal Ellis has accumulated over 40 years’ of experience as a registered nurse, wound clinician, educator, academic, researcher, practice manager, clinical services manager and CEO. This includes work in Acadaemia, Primary Health, General practice, Aboriginal Health, Aged Care and Acute care.
From 1991 – 2006 he worked as an academic in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of South Australia (City East Campus) where his clinical, education and research specialty was Wound Management. More recently he has occupied the position of Wound Management Clinical Nurse Specialist at Calvary Community Care and is currently the Wound Management Clinical Practice Consultant at Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. Tal is a founding member, Fellow and Life Member of Wounds Australia and a recently retired Board Director of Wounds Australia.
