Frank is the current Nurse Practitioner for the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Flinders Medical Centre, South Australia and Senior Lecturer (clinical teaching specialist) for Flinders University, College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Frank is a past President and current Treasurer for the Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Nursing (ANZSVN) and a former committee member of the Wound Australia South Australian branch.
Frank’s current career passion is focused on the use of augmentative technologies in the field of wound healing, where he has published research on the use of epidermal grafting for the treatment of complex wounds and the pilot use of a biodegradable plastic in the treatment of diabetic foot wounds. In September 2025, Frank submitted his PhD thesis looking at the use of a biodegradable synthetic matrix technology in the healing of limb-threatening diabetic foot wounds.
