2026 International Keynotes
Dr. Lee Rogers is the Chief of Podiatry and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is the Louis T. Bogy endowed professor of podiatric medicine and surgery at UT and oversees the postgraduate residency and fellowship programs. Rogers directs 2 acute hospital services, 4 outpatient clinics, and a remote patient monitoring program. He also serves as the team podiatrist to the San Antonio Spurs.
2026 Invited Keynote Speaker
Kirsi Isoherranen is a Finnish physician and specialist in dermatology and allergology. She serves as Head Physician of the Helsinki Wound Healing Centre at Helsinki University Hospital, where she works in a multidisciplinary team focused on improving diagnosis and treatment of complex wounds.
2026 Invited Keynote Speaker
Zena is the Chair in Nursing at the RCSI, University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Director of the Skin Wounds, and Trauma (SWaT) Research Centre at RCSI. Zena’s area of research interest is wound healing & tissue repair, and she has published over 380 articles, guidelines, consensus documents and book chapters in this field. Zena is named on the 2025 Stanford University listing of the “top 2% researchers around the world”.
2026 Invited Keynote Speaker
Ms. Couch has been a wound care Nurse Practitioner for 23 years. Currently, she works as the Director of Wound Care Services at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC. She is an Associate Research Professor of Surgery at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University. Her wound care interests include caring for persons with limb loss/limb differences, complex abdominal wounds and use of technology in wound healing.

Prof. Dr. José Luis Lázaro-Martínez is Full Time Professor at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Spain. He is Director of the Diabetic Foot Unit at UCM and leads research groups on diabetic foot at both UCM and the San Carlos Clinical Hospital Research Institute.
2026 Invited Keynote Speaker
Professor Dimitri Beeckman is an internationally recognised expert in skin integrity, wound care, and pressure injury prevention. He is Professor of Nursing Science at Örebro University (Sweden) and Ghent University (Belgium), and serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor at Örebro University, where he leads the university’s international strategy.
