Dr. Lee Rogers is the Chief of Podiatry and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is the Louis T. Bogy endowed professor of podiatric medicine and surgery at UT and oversees the postgraduate residency and fellowship programs. Rogers directs 2 acute hospital services, 4 outpatient clinics, and a remote patient monitoring program. He also serves as the team podiatrist to the San Antonio Spurs.
He has authored over 150 published papers, books, and book chapters on limb salvage and policy and practice and he has delivered more than 500 lectures around the world.
Dr. Rogers is the president-elect of the International Federation of Podiatrists, the Diabetic Foot Section Editor for the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a past president of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is also Fellow Faculty in Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in Scotland. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Podiatry Management Magazine and was inducted into the Podiatric Hall of Fame in 2025.
