She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with 16 years of acute clinical practice experience, specialising predominantly in surgical nursing and wound management. She demonstrates a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and the delivery of effective, patient-centred care to improve patient outcomes and quality of life, while also contributing to a reduction in healthcare resource demand.

She holds a Graduate Certificate in Acute Care Nursing with distinction from the University of Technology Sydney (2007) and is an accredited Stomal Therapist and Wound Management Certificate holder through the College of Nursing (2016). She is recognised as an Advanced Credentialed Wound Care Clinician with Northern Sydney Local Health District.

Her professional achievements include a poster presentation at the 2018 Patient Experience Symposium in Sydney, focusing on improving patient concordance in wound management, and the co-authorship of a published case study in Wound Practice and Research Journal Australia titled “Collaboration across the care continuum to improve patient experience.”
