Catherine Leahy is a Wound Prevention and Management Clinical Nurse Consultant with over 10 years’ experience in wound care across metropolitan, rural and remote settings. She established NSW’s first public health virtual wound consultancy service, improving access to specialist care and reducing travel burden for rural communities. Catherine also co-leads the NSW Single Digital Patient Record Wound Care Working Group, contributing to system-level improvement in wound prevention and management. She is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Charles Sturt University and has completed a Master of Nursing specialising in Clinical Research, with research interests in virtual care, chronic wounds and evidence translation.
