Monika Samolyk

Monika is an advanced practice wound consultant and accredited lymphoedema practitioner with extensive experience across acute, community, and aged care settings. A 15-year regional clinical consultancy role concluded in 2025, supporting complex wound and chronic disease management across 11 health services in regional Victoria. This work included establishing an early intervention vascular diagnostic clinic in collaboration with a vascular sonographer; outcome research is ongoing. Monika is co-director of Advancing Wound Care, an independent consultant, and co-host of The Two Echidnae podcast. Special interests include persistent pain, foot protection, and chronic disease.
