Anteneh Geremew is a Research Associate at the University of Adelaide’s Future Industries Institute, specialising in clinical microbiology and antimicrobial resistance. He holds a PhD in Medical Science and has extensive experience in infectious diseases, molecular diagnostics, and microbiological analysis. His research focuses on the epidemiology, genomics, and transmission of multidrug-resistant bacteria in healthcare and community settings, including residential aged care facilities and chronic wounds. He also works on the development and evaluation of next-generation antimicrobial agents and wound therapeutics. Anteneh has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in international journals and is particularly interested in integrating microbiome analysis and genomic surveillance to inform infection prevention strategies.
