I have always been passionate about wounds and am grateful that I have been able to bring about positive change in our district for wound care.
I started life as part of a family of living in a Kombi van travelling through Europe, with parents who supported us in our passions.
I haven’t always been a nurse, I started off as a studio potter, and run my studio to this day. I was also a ceramics and art teacher.
I have also always been a farmer, with our first farms in Western NSW, and now we live near Cobargo in southern NSW.
I have a lovely husband and three kids who bring me great joy.
Becoming a nurse was a revelation, and has been a great journey.I always felt my home was in Community Nursing, and wounds and lymphoedema have been a constant source of fascination. I have just completed a Master of Wound Care and love being able to use this knowledge every day.
