Gordana Petkovska

Gordana Petkovska is a Nurse Practitioner specialising in wound and ostomy management within the Advanced Wound Assessment Service at Silverchain Group. She provides expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic wounds, consulting across a diverse range of community-based clinical settings. Gordana’s career includes extensive experience in senior clinical roles, where she has contributed to policy development, clinical guideline advancement, and best‑practice standards in wound care. She also plays an active role in research as both a primary and assistant investigator on several projects, supporting the development of evidence‑informed approaches to care. Gordana is currently a PhD candidate at Curtin University, with her research focused on improving pressure injury prevention for individuals receiving hospice care in the community.
