Le Tuong Van Vo

Van Vo is a final-year PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide. Her research focuses on addressing the significant clinical burden of infections in patients with burn and wound injuries. Her PhD project is conducted in collaboration with PolyNovo Biomaterials Ltd, aiming to develop next-generation antimicrobial dermal matrices for the management of deep burn injuries. She is a recipient of the Australasian Wound & Tissue Repair Society (AWTRS) 2024 Conference Travel Award, the 2024 AWTRS Outstanding Poster Presentation Award, and the University of South Australia Vice Chancellor and President Scholarship.
