Rosie Gale

She started as a Endorsed Enrolled Nurse at Orange Hospital in with specialist expertise in wound and stomal therapy. She completed a Diploma of Enrolled Nursing in 2019, followed by a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of New England in 2022, and a Graduate Certificate in Stomal Therapy through the Australian College of Nursing in 2023. In 2026, she commenced a Master of Wound Management at Monash University.
She currently works as the sole Wound/Stoma Clinical Nurse Consultant at her hospital, managing emergency and elective stoma patients, providing outpatient follow-up, and reviewing all wounds across the facility. Her role includes liaising with medical teams, supporting the HOT clinic, and running the Fracture Clinic weekly. Passionate about patient-centred care, she values building strong therapeutic relationships and identified a need for greater specialist capacity within her health district, motivating her continued professional development.
