Sara Driver, RN, MWoundCare – Clinical Practice Consultant
Sara is a registered nurse who qualified in the United Kingdom in 1995, with a background primarily in acute care before immigrating to South Australia in 2009. She joined Silverchain, a large community nursing organisation, and has worked in a dedicated wound specialist role as a Clinical Practice Consultant since 2016, providing almost a decade of expertise in managing chronic and complex wounds within the community setting. Sara supports a broad clinical portfolio, including advanced wound management, staff education, clinical mentoring, and service development. She has a strong passion for wound management and is committed to promoting best possible outcomes aligned with clients’ individual goals. Sara completed a Master of Wound Care by research through Monash University in 2025, focusing on wound management practices for dry and wet gangrene in patients with no-option critical limb-threatening ischaemia.
