Sarah Sage has been a nurse for 26 years and working in Wound Management for 18 years. She coordinates the Royal Melbourne Hospital Chronic Wound Service and wound CNC team. Sarah is a Nurse Practitioner and Lymphoedema therapist and works privately with Healthcare United. She has been involved in 2 RCTs on prophylactic dressings and pressure injury development. She has published on the impact of COVID-19 on complex wound care patients and healthcare staff PPE related-skin injury. She is currently undertaking Master of Philosophy at the University of Sydney. Sarah holds a graduate certificate in wound care, a graduate certificate in health economics and economic evaluation, a master’s degree in Advanced Nursing Practice and has formal training in lymphoedema management and motivational interviewing.
