Vivien Low-Clarke

Vivien is an accomplished Clinical Nurse Specialist in Skin Integrity and Wound Management, with nearly two decades of experience in intensive care nursing. She has developed extensive expertise across a broad range of specialties, including critical care, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, cardiothoracics and cardiology, vascular, respiratory, plastics and reconstructive surgery, transplantation, and palliative care.

Vivien is committed to delivering excellence in complex wound care while empowering colleagues through education, mentorship, and the translation of evidence into practice. She prioritises implementation science to strengthen sustainable practice change and is deeply focused on improving quality of life outcomes for patients across the care continuum.

In addition to her strong clinical expertise, Vivien has held leadership roles as a Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator, fostering team collaboration, professional growth, and high standards of care. She is a Research Academic Affiliate with the University of Sydney, is completing a Graduate Certificate in Wound Management at Monash University, and will commence a Master of Philosophy in 2027.

Vivien is known for her dedication, innovation, and commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration. She is passionate about advancing wound management practice, strengthening clinical capability within teams, and driving meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.
