Nancy Wang is a registered nurse and PhD candidate at Queensland University of Technology. Her research focuses on wound care for people living with dementia, particularly in community and home settings. Her work explores how wounds are prevented, assessed, and managed, as well as the challenges faced by people with dementia, family caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Using a mixed-methods approach, Nancy aims to identify practical ways to improve wound care and support better quality of life for people living with dementia. She is part of QUT’s Clinical Outcomes, Safety and Implementation Group and works closely with community care and industry partners to support evidence-based wound care practice.
