This session combines expert insight and practical application to advance best practice in the management and treatment of skin tears. Professor Dimitri Beeckman will present current evidence-based guidelines, highlighting key principles in prevention, assessment, and management across clinical settings. Drawing on the latest research and international recommendations.
Building on this, a second speaker will lead an interactive workshop focused on translating best-practice into real-world care. Through practical demonstrations and case-based discussion, participants will strengthen their skills in assessment, product selection, and application techniques to optimise patient outcomes.
