Bio Cathy Kindness
Cathy is an experienced Registered Nurse who has worked with patients with complex wound care for many years. Having worked in areas such as Wound Management and Stomal Therapy, Plastic Surgery and Burns Units, Surgical and Orthopaedic, Outpatient Clinics , Leg Ulcer Management ,amongst others, she has a broad range of experience and is keen the share her knowledge and experience with others.
Cathy is passionate about patient and carer education, encouraging engagement and participation in the wound healing journey.
A long-term member of the Queensland Wounds Australia Committee having facilitated numerous workshops and seminars for both health care clinicians and consumers for Wounds Awareness Week
