From evidence-based practice to improved patient outcomes – Effectively managing Diabetic Foot Ulcers and reducing the risk of complications

Synopsis

The delivery of safe, high-quality health care must be underpinned by up-to-date evidence-based practice, taking into consideration clinical judgement, the patient’s needs and their preferences.

Prevention, detection, treatment and management of wound infection remain a paramount concern for clinicians worldwide and clinicians need to take a proactive approach to ensure the effective and sustainable management of wound infection in clinical practice.

Throughout this workshop, Prof. Dr. José Luis Lázaro Martínez will apply evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes and will provide strategies to effectively manage Diabetic Foot Ulcers in order to reduce the risk of complications.
